Designed for Silver Oxide Battery-Powered Applications
Ultra-Low Current, Low Voltage, Omnipolar Hall Effect Switch IC
Low voltage operation from 1.3V
The S-5719 Series features a wide power supply voltage range from 1.3V to 3.6V. This makes it well-suited for electronic devices powered by typical lithium-ion batteries (approx. 3.0V), as well as those operating at lower voltages, such as silver oxide batteries (approx. 1.55V).
This flexibility to accommodate various battery types increases design freedom and enables integration across a broad range of applications.
Low current consumption for extended battery life
The S-5719 Series Hall Effect Switch IC achieves an industry’s top class* ultra-low current consumption of only 0.2μA (typ.) .
This translates to about five times longer operating time compared to our current S-5712 Series products, significantly extending battery life of battery-powered applications.
It’s ideal for operations such as wake-up and on/off control, as it detects the attachment status of devices using a magnetic sensor.

Small and thin package
The S-5719 Series is housed in a compact 1.6 × 1.2 × t0.5 (max.) mm SNT-4A package.
This allows the use of smaller magnets and greater flexibility in their placement, ultimately contributing to the miniaturization and enhanced design of the final product.
The S-5719 Series is highly durable because its Hall element and signal processing circuit are formed on the same silicon chip and molded in resin. This makes it an ideal replacement for reed switches, which often face challenges with vibration and shock resistance.
Development support through magnetic simulation
ABLIC offers a “magnetic simulation service” to help customers find the ideal combination between magnets and our magnetic sensor ICs for their systems. Our magnetic simulation service will reduce prototype production, development time, and development costs. Additionally, it will contribute to the optimization of parts to realize high-cost performance.
Please check “magnetic simulation service” for details.
