The concern for greater vehicle safety has increased the number of automotive camera modules that are installed in a vehicle.

The demands on cameras expected to safeguard vehicle safety are relentless.
Higher resolution (from VGA to 1 or 2 megapixel) in the same size of housing as the previous model or preferably more compact”  This is a hurdle for the designers to overcome.

The solution we propose is to “downsize the power supply IC, an indispensable part in an automotive camera.”

This reset IC with a 10V rating and an ultra-low current consumption of 270nA (typ.) is available in a 1.2 x 1.6mm ultra compact package.
The S-19100 contributes both to a smaller mounting area and lower power consumption.
