High-withstand Voltage, Low Consumption, and High-temperature Operation
No Need for Overvoltage Protection Components
The S-1230/1 Series, featuring an externally set output voltage, is equipped with an open-loop protection circuit. If an open fault occurs in the negative feedback loop, the IC detects the abnormality and prevents the regulator’s output voltage from rising, ontributing to improved system safety.
This eliminates the need for external components to protect subsequent circuits from overvoltage, reducing the overall system cost and minimizing mounting area.
High-withstand Voltage and Low Consumption for Diverse Power Supply Systems
The S-1230/1 Series supports high-withstand voltages, with a maximum operating voltage of 66V and a rated voltage of 80V, ensuring compatibility with 12V, 24V, and 48V power supply systems.
Additionally, it achieves the industry’s lowest* current consumption during operation of 2.0μA typ. This reduces the system’s standby current by efficiently supplying power to continuously operating MCUs and other essential components.

A Wide Operation Temperature Range for Harsh Environments
The S-1230/1 Series supports a maximum operation temperature of 105°C, enabling a stable power supply even in harsh high-temperature environments such as industrial equipment. This contributes to improved overall device reliability and offers greater design flexibility.
