ABLIC Inc. successfully achieved IATF16949 recertification on November 22, 2021.
(We already obtained ISO9001 recertification on October 5, 2021.)
We have maintained the quality management system (QMS) certification for over twenty years. We obtained ISO9001:1994 certification in the year 1994. As for the automotive QMS certification, we received QS9000:1998 in 2001, TS16949:2002 in 2006, TS16949:2009 in 2010, and IATF16949:2016 in 2017.
However, our recertification audit could not be conducted within the allowable timing in compliance with the IATF Rules 5.1.1 for reasons of the COVID-19 pandemic. Therefore, ABLIC Inc. decided to start over with an initial certification audit and successfully obtained IATF16949/ISO9001 recertification ahead of schedule.
Notes: IATF Rules 5.1.1 “If the timing is exceeded, the client shall start over with an initial certification audit (stage 1 and stage 2).”
