The protocol is Microwire. Former National Semiconductor standard. This interface is widely used. Chip select input (CS), Serial clock input (SK), Serial data input (DI), Serial data output (DO), connect these four lines to general-purpose I/O ports on the MCU. *DI and DO can be connected, so 3 wires are also possible = 3wire.
